85.00

Date: Sunday, October 20th
Time: 10am-3pm

Instructor: Liesel Lund

Fall is an intoxicating blend of color, texture and scents. In this workshop we will celebrate all that nature offers in this season. We’ll start with painting single autumn leaves and then move on to gourds, dried grasses, and full landscapes. Learn paint colors that will help you create the magic of fall, special texture techniques to create nature on a two dimensional surface and how to use expressive marks to invigorate your painting. It will be easier if you’ve had a little experience with watercolor before, but a beginner can dive in and enjoy this too. The focus will be on painting techniques. You will be provided with all the supplies and fall leaves to paint. You are very welcome to bring your own leaves, gourds, grasses, etc or nature photos of fall to paint from. You may bring your own watercolor paper and brushes if you prefer not to use the student grade supplies. The paint provided with the class is high quality- with colors perfect for autumn!
